Peacemaker Lori Dunn is Book Club Student of the Year at Hutchings Career Center

At Hutchings Career Center’s recent annual awards ceremony, Lori Dunn was named Book Club Student of the Year.Lori was chosen for this honor because she has read over 150 books from the school’s library during the school year!

Lori reports that the librarian asks her what books she would
like ordered—a real testimony to Lori’s love of reading.
Lori, a rising junior, is a member of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)   and placed third in the state in knowledge of medical terms at the HOSA convention in March.
She is also a member of the Excel club, the Anchor club, and the News team at Hutchings. She has helped bring in blood donors for an American Red Cross blood drive at the Career Center, too.
Lori has been a Peacemaker since 1999, first as a camper and now as a
counselor-in-training and she also volunteers at Parent University.
